TYLER, Texas — August 2026 — Adbongo Group LLC has been reinstated with the Texas Secretary of State and is officially open for business, beginning a new chapter focused on beneficial-purpose organizations and emerging technology.
Founded in 2006, Adbongo became a Certified B Corporation in 2011 and built its early work around sustainability advocacy, regenerative business development, and digital organizational technologies, including blockchain. Operations were scaled back during the COVID-19 pandemic when managing member (and founder) Baba John entered law school.
After earning his Juris Doctor and completing an externship with legal-technology firm Ixian, Baba John is returning to lead Adbongo’s next phase. Adbongo will research and develop strategies for digital organizations pursuing beneficial purposes, including applications involving Web3, Bitcoin, blockchain governance, artificial intelligence, decentralized autonomous organizations, and other emerging technologies.
“Adbongo has always explored how organizations can use innovation to benefit people, planet, and prosperity,” said Baba John. “Our reinstatement allows us to combine that history with new legal-technology research and help founders responsibly navigate the next generation of organizational systems.”
